Some time ago we came up with an idea to somehow unite and support travel couples in these weird times. So we teamed up with some beautiful travel couples and asked them how Covid changed their travel plans and where they plan to spend this summer. We hope this list will inspire you and if you won't travel this summer yourself, you can tag along and follow these couples' adventures. An adventurous married couple living in NYC traveling the world. This summer is going to be a little different for us. Instead of jetting off to new destinations around the world, we’ll be staying home in New York. Mostly staying in the city and exploring our backyard. However, we do plan to take a road trip upstate and discover the Adirondack and Catskills mountains!

We started as a travel couple based out of Lisbon, traveled across half of the world just the two of us, but now that our Baby Henrique has born we are officially a travel family 👨👩👦❤️
We are going to spend our summer in our country Portugal on the beautiful beaches of Algarve ❤️ Definitely the next best thing to being able to travel the world. Moments like these make us value our home country even more 🙏🌍

We have been together for almost 9 years and met when I (Marco) was backpacking through Latin America.
We’ve been on the road for almost three years and have traveled through Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America but overall Asia is our favourite. Here in Bali we plan to go back to Nusa Penida which is our favourite island here and definitely the waterfall Tukad Cepung when it's sunny to catch the epic light rays shining in the canyon where the waterfall is located. We also plan to visit Amed which is one of the most laid back beach places of Bali.

We are two crazy creators exploring the world together. We're going to spend this summer in Israel although we had lots of plans to travel to Europe and USA but this probably not going to happen, but we definitely going to make lemonade from this lemon 🍋😅 And this summer is still going to be amazing ❤️

We’re Corinne and River the husband and wife duo behind North South Travels. For the past 3 years we have dedicated our lives to travel so having been in one place for the past few months has definitely took some getting used to.
This summer we will be enjoying our time here in Dubai where we have been based since last October. Once flights open up and the quarantine restrictions are eased, our first destinations will be Spain and the UK to visit our families and get some much missed European sun ☀️

We are Melinda and Nigel, a couple from Belgium. Although we love to travel, to explore, to meet new people along our journeys, we also think it is really important to stay healthy and to take care of yourself and your loved ones! So this summer will be different. We will travel to some place nearby in our own country and maybe in our neighbouring countries. We've been thinking of visiting Ghent and Bruges, and maybe Brussels too. Also the northern part of the Netherlands is on our minds, like the city of Amsterdam or the Dutch beaches nearby. And if everything keeps getting better, maybe we do a little roadtrip with a van at the end of the summer.

We will spend our summer road tripping through Europe with our brand new Suzuki Jimny and a roof top tent ⛺️: Slovenia, Croatia and Albania are on our list for July. At the end of August we have, instead, some great plans for Italy: the Amalfi coast is waiting for us and we are super excited!

This virus has caused us to slow down, enjoy the moment and appreciate the people and places around us more. We will be spending our summer at our home in Northern Ontario Canada! We are surrounded by the Great Lakes which makes for some excellent adventures. This summer will be a season for getting back to our roots... hiking, camping, fishing and spending time with our family and friends.

When this whole COVID situation started, we were already here in Bali and decided not to go back to Hungary. So since February we've been here on this beautiful island (no idea until when) and our summer plan is to explore here as much as we can (luckily the places already started to reopen) and give our followers a bunch of Bali inspiration ☺️🌴

We're Timmy and Farah, a married Egyptian travel couple who have blowout arguments about how dishes should be placed in the sink and drink more wine than is strictly necessary.
This summer, like much of the world, all our travel plans imploded in our faces when the pandemic hit but we're grateful for our health, for the fact that KFC still exists, and that we can at least travel internally. Egypt's got some incredible beaches; so far this summer, we've been to Ain El Sukhna (placid water, striking mountainous backdrop), and El Gouna (boats, electric blue waters, islands), and we are planning to do another few trips to Ras Sudr and the North Coast.

We are Domi and Frida from @weloveourlife! Due to the Covid-19, this summer we'll travel close to home. So we would like to visit two beautiful islands such as Mykonos and Sardinia.
14. How about ourselves?
We can tell you that after more than 4 months of being in one place, finally in about 2 weeks we will be going on an epic road trip around Europe (if the whole Covid situation allows us). We want to travel primarily around Italy and Croatia. Later we will take you to our home country - Poland and show you how beautiful the autumn colours are.
